I wanted to attend an event for the sake of my daughter and the other children (even adults) who are suffering from food allergies and the associated stresses. I don't think many people realize the toll it can take on an entire family. It can get serious and scary really quick. 

I want her to see other children with allergies and possibly eczema, and to see them enjoying the day, thriving, and making the best out of their situation. Cadence is a loving, beautiful child; she has very strong emotions regarding her allergies. I want her to feel comfortable in her own skin. I want her to know she is not alone.

I didn't intend to start a fundraiser, it kind of just happened. Just attending the event is enough for us, but anything that ends up being donated is an extra bonus!
