Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America

Hi, I'm Julien.  I love tennis, baseball, theatre, singing, hanging out with my friends and family, and helping others.  I made my own business this summer-Loom-Mates.  I made bracelets on a loom and sold them  in order to give proceeds to charities.  I wanted to give money to KFA in order for families with food allergies to be able to be educated.

I have "life-threatening" allergies.  I can not be in a room with some of my allergens, and can not touch anything that might have food proteins and residues on it.  I am not going to let my allergies stop me from what I enjoy, but I do find it easier when people try to understand that I don't want to change their world, I only am trying to keep my world safe for me.

I have great friends and family, I am very lucky to have parents who help educate our community and schools, even my little sister is a great advocate.  I am grateful that my friends know that I am just like them, but i need to read ingredients or need people to wash their hand after they eat before we hang out together.

I am walking for KFA and hope that youmight walk with me or maybe donate a little bit to help more families learn how to manage with food allergies.
