Here at The Allergy Equity Project (TAEP), our mission is to create a world where individuals with food allergies are safe, supported, and informed. We strive to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those with food allergies, educate the public on their causes, effects, and solutions, and advocate for policies that promote inclusivity and safety. Through community outreach, educational initiatives, and fundraising efforts, we support vital organizations like Kids with Food Allergies and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, ensuring access to resources, research, and life-saving support for those in need. Together, we can build a future where food allergies are understood, respected, and no longer a barrier to our health and well-being.

AAFA Allies host and support fundraisers that fuel our mission-critical programs. Your generous donations support: 

• Education programs and lifesaving resources on disease prevention, diagnosis, and management for people living with asthma and allergies and health professionals.  

• An online support community where people can find health education materials and talk directly to other people who know what it’s like to live with asthma and/or allergies.  

• Patient-centered research to improve health outcomes and address health disparities in communities that are greatly affected by allergic and respiratory conditions. 

• Advocacy for laws and policies that ensure access to high-quality, affordable, and evidence-based health care and treatments.
