Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America

Our family cycled 14932 kilometers (9332 miles) around the world to raise awareness of asthma and the need for clean air. In 2022 our book "Breathtaking: How one family cycled around the world for clean air and asthma" was published by Falcon Guides. From July-August 2022, we cycled another 1650 miles (2000 kilometers) down the west and east coast of the US, speaking at our sponsors' stores, educating people about asthma and inspiring them to choose clean air forms of transportation (see www.bikerbreath.com). We are continuing to fundraise for AAFA and are donating $1 for every book sold. We hope you will join in our efforts to help make the world a better place to breath

AAFA Allies host and support fundraisers that fuel our mission-critical programs. Your generous donations support: 

• Education programs and lifesaving resources on disease prevention, diagnosis, and management for people living with asthma and allergies and health professionals.  

• An online support community where people can find health education materials and talk directly to other people who know what it’s like to live with asthma and/or allergies.  

• Patient-centered research to improve health outcomes and address health disparities in communities that are greatly affected by allergic and respiratory conditions. 

• Advocacy for laws and policies that ensure access to high-quality, affordable, and evidence-based health care and treatments.
